The best places to dine, drink and dance in Wrexham

Beer lovers might be planning a trip to Wrexham in May for the North Wales Beer Festival, but for those looking to enjoy drinks of a different kind, there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from in the town centre, and Wrexham hummer hire is the perfect way to arrive in style. The Bank Wine Bar and Bistro is a hot spot for cocktails – the Chocolate Martini is a popular choice. They also serve a range of delicious bistro style dishes made with local ingredients – Caerphilly, leek and wild mushroom tart anyone?  Hiring a limo in Wrexham to head a little further afield is a great idea; the Tyddyn Llan Restaurant is just a short drive from Wrexham and offers Michelin Star cuisine – the six course tasting menu is simply divine. If you’re not too full after all that food, ask your limo driver to drop you at Liquid Nightclub – this huge venue features two rooms of the latest chart and alternative music and is the perfect place to party the night away.

History

Wrexham has a rich history as a farming community, with land in the area being farmed for centuries. Today, local produce can be found at the Wrexham Farmers’ Market and includes Welsh black beef, local smoked fish and a variety of cheeses. Wrexham is probably most famous for the 1958 discovery of ‘Brymbo Man’. This Bronze Age skeleton was unearthed by local workmen, who were digging trenches in the area. Ask your limo driver to drop you at the County Borough Museum, where you can see the fascinating facial reconstruction of this celebrity skeleton.
Of course, football has always played an important part in the life of Wrexham residents, with Wrexham AFC winning the Welsh Cup more than 20 times. If you’re lucky you might be able to snap up tickets for a match, and arrive in style with Wrexham hummer rental.
