3 Reasons to Visit Liverpool in June

• International Mersey River Festival: Held at the Liverpool waterfront from June 23 - June 25, here you'll find a completely free three day family-friendly festival. With a visit from all different kinds of ships, jet ski demos, and air displays. There's even plenty of music to make the festival a bit more fun.
• Africa Oyé: You'll find this festival at Sefton Park on the 17th and 18th of June. As with the River Festival, this one is free, but it's a far different atmosphere here. It is the largest celebration of its kind in the UK, and nearly everywhere you turn, you'll find an exciting display of African music and culture. The lineup this year includes a few artists you don't want to miss like Dobet Gnahoryé and Bonga, both of whom have attended in the past.
• Liverpool Hope University International Tennis Tournament: Held at the Liverpool Cricket Club June 15th - June 18th this year, Marcus Willis will be playing among many other legends. Tickets are available now and required to attend this event.
