Baskerville

Sherlock fans take note! This is one stage performance you're certainly going to want to attend. it's on at the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre until January 13. It's based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Hound of the Baskervilles," and includes performances from just five actors. Given that there are actually 42 very vivid characters in the story, the cast switches are nothing short of amazing, and throughout you'll see comic genius and wit at work again and again.

New Year's Day Prom

If you're like many, New Year's Day is a bit drab, but this concert will certainly brighten things up a bit. Throughout, you'll hear some of your favourite British classics including the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Rule Britannia! and the Dam Busters March. With a finale you just can't miss, this is one way to liven up the end of the holiday season.

Jersey Boys

If you haven't yet seen this stage version of the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, it's certainly time to do so. It will be at the Liverpool Empire Theatre from January 10 to January 20. A musical that has toured the world, Jersey Boys has won 57 different major awards, including the Olivier Award for the Best New Musical.
