Covid-19 Message

First of all, we hope everyone is ok in these very difficult times the world is facing at the moment.🙏

I would like  to say a big  thank you👏😀 to all those customers who have been very understanding  and have moved their special occasion to another date later in the year

We are still open and takings bookings for future dates and are saying to customers we are happy to be flexible(subject to availability)if they need to move their booking to another date in these uncertain times.

We are finding a lot of jobs we already have booked are moving them to dates in August / September/October and a lot of school proms seem to be now been moved to September and fingers crossed we can get back to normal by then.

If you are thinking of having a special occasion at this time don’t leave it to the last minute as the above months are now filling up quickly and once again we are happy to be flexible and move the booking if the situation changes further.

Let’s hope we can all get to celebrate that missed special occasion later in the year.🥳 🍺

What is a COIF ?

Who can use the scheme

If you use a vehicle with more than 8 passenger seats to transport people for profit, also known as a Public Service Vehicle (PSV), it must have been approved or have a Certificate of Initial Fitness (COIF) to register it.

What vehicles need a COIF

You’ll need a COIF for your vehicle if it has more than 8 passenger seats, will be used for profit and either:

  • isn’t registered in the UK and was built before the type approval scheme was introduced
  • is registered in the UK but doesn’t have a type approval as a passenger vehicle with more than 8 passenger seats

The start dates for this scheme vary depending on the type of vehicle.
See page 10 of the Individual Vehicle Approval scheme guide for details.

All are vehicles at  https://www.earlslimousines.co.uk meet the strict safety guidelines to allow us to carry more than 8 passengers for Hire/Reward .
